Learn How To Play The Drums at Boldery Music Academy
Meet Jackson….
Jackson has been playing the drums at Boldery Music Academy since August 2023! He has loved his time at BMA, participated in YouTube Week and had a blast at his Professional Rockstar Photoshoot!
Here at Boldery Music Academy, we are creating musicians for life.
Let’s throw out the old way of learning music and let’s create something more, something beautiful!
“once a musician, always a musician”
At Boldery Music Academy we teach music differently! We want to enrich our students lives by not only providing weekly music lessons but by also giving the opportunity to learn different aspects of being a musician.

Why Take Drum Lessons at Boldery Music Academy?
Easy.. We’re more than just a lesson only school!
Not every child learns the same. With that being said we offer lessons in both a group setting and private settings!
Our lesson plans are based on your personal goals and aspirations, making each lesson unique to you!
On top of learning your new instrument, you will have the opportunity to join other students during our community events, show off your skills with our various performance opportunities and become a part of our community.
Meet Easton…
Easton is actually one of our guitar students but during one of our MasterClass weeks, he was able to try out the drums! We played lots of rhythm games, built a drum, played in a drum circle and learned new musical skills!
Drum Lessons in NKY!
Group Classes
Our most popular program is our group lessons!
Younger kids who are in a traditional learning environment at school tend to gravitate toward our group learning experience. These classes have a way of forming amazing friendships among other musicians and keeping younger students more engaged week to week. The secret to the success of this program is how it combines music education with fun group-based activities that keeps the lessons fresh and exciting so your child will love coming to music class!
Perfect for musicians with a bit more experience or heavier aspirations.
We have found that private lessons are best suited for musicians who have prior experience and wanting to refine their skills or if they have something specific, they are working toward. Learning an instrument is hard work, there are no short cuts. Thats why at BMA we believe that organization and planning are the differences that set us apart in our private lesson experience.

Meet Your Coach
Hello! I’m Micah!
Music has always been my outlet since the young age of 2. Growing up, watching musicians just inspired me to become a drummer. Throughout my music journey, I have played in steel band, jazz band, pep band, concert bands, played drums for various churches, weddings, and marching band all throughout high school. My first year at Eastern Kentucky University, I participated in marching band and concert band. In addition, I’ve played drums in music groups such as, Double Planet, Corrupted Youth, and now currently working with the band Knowall. Music is the best way I can express my art and I want to show others how they can express themselves through the instrument I know best, drums/percussion.
